"Masai Mara  Safari"

Masai Mara Safari.

In 1990 British born Jennifer first visited Kenya and great love was begun! Thereafter every year Jennifer visited Kenya and Tanzania and brought many of her friends from around the world. In 1998 she decided to settle in Kenya and in 2000 started JMAR Safaris and opened Duma Camp in the Masai Mara.

JMAR Safaris has its own exclusive private camp, situated in the heart of Kenya's famous game reserve, the Maasai Mara. Our camp has an air of uniqueness, offering the utmost comfort, excellent food and great game safaris.

JMAR Safaris is a small Safari Company specialising in safaris throughout Kenya, Tanzania and other parts of East Africa. Right from the bush to the beach, activities such as horse riding, golfing, balloon rides and mountain climbing are at our provision.

We dont have specific rates for mobiles as we only do personalized safaris rather than groups so each safari has a different price depending on the clients wishes.

Masai Mara in Kenya stretches out over a flat grassy plain and is most famous for its annual migration of millions of wildebeest.

Photographic opportunities are endless. Many species of wildlife are comfortable by the game viewing vehicles and come up close for the perfect picture. Hot Air Ballooning is a very popular activity in the Mara and is a great way to see the wildlife and landscape. Drink champagne afterwards to celebrate a successful flight while your breakfast is cooked at the landing area.

A visit to a hospitable Maasai village gives your Masai Mara safari a cultural edge. The Maasai live a traditional way of life in a 'Manyatta', living in simple mud covered straw huts. With over 500 species of bird life and open scenery the Masai Mara should definitely form part of your Kenyan safari.
